Scientist. Backpacker. Photographer
In 2019, I backpacked the 250 mile John Muir Trail solo from Cottonwood Pass to Happy Isles in Yosemite National Park. This was my first backpacking trip and it motivated to explore and document other backpacking trips, such as the High Sierra Trail, Mt Whitney hike, and the Tran Catalina Trail.
Outside of backpacking, I am a trained research scientist and have a doctorate in biochemistry/molecular biology – hence this website’s name, ScienceTrekker!
This website serves as my portal to describe past, present, and future journeys.
